Your 2027 dental benefits

Every Devoted Health plan includes dental benefits to make taking care of your teeth easy and affordable. 

The information on this page is for 2027 Devoted Health plans (see 2026 dental details). 

We have 2 different types of dental benefits depending on your plan. To find out which one you have, check your plan documents or look at the back of your member ID card.

Plans with a dental network

If the back of your ID card says Liberty Dental or Devoted Dental, you have dental coverage through a dental network. Here’s how it works:

• Your plan has a network of trusted dentists in your area. With an HMO plan, you can only see dentists in your plan’s network. With a PPO plan, you can go out of network, but you may pay more (and you may need to pay upfront and get paid back). 
• Your plan covers a specific list of dental codes. See our Dental Guide for the full list. There may be limits on some services — for example, a limit of 2 oral exams per year. To avoid surprise dentist bills, always ask for an estimate before you get any care.

Plans that pay you back for dental care

If the back of your ID card says devoted.com/paymeback, you pay upfront and get paid back based on your plan’s rules. Here’s how it works:

• You can see any dentist you choose. If you need help finding a quality dentist near you, try DenScore. It’s quick, free, and we highly recommend it. You can also use tools like FAIR Health to check if your dentist’s prices are higher than the usual cost for your area — shopping around could save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars!
• Your plan covers a specific list of dental codes. See our Dental Guide for the full list. There may be limits on some services — for example, a limit of 2 oral exams per year. 
• You pay upfront and we pay you back. Make sure to ask the dentist for a detailed claim form and a receipt so we can process your request to get paid back. To avoid surprise dentist bills, always ask for an estimate first, and check that the services you’re getting are on our list of covered codes. 
• Some services may have a cost share. For preventive care, like routine cleanings and X-rays, we pay back the full amount you spend up to your yearly allowance.* Comprehensive dental services, like fillings or dentures, may have a 50% cost share — meaning we pay back 50% of the cost up to your yearly allowance.
